Post-Completion Review

We completely reinvented and delivered the club’s main all-day dining restaurant, repositioning it within the wider club planning and circulation. Entrances were reconfigured and the frontage pulled back by one metre to create a more usable terrace space.

The design takes full advantage of the marina setting - relaxed and assured, with a layered composition of materials, lighting, and spatial rhythm that feels both contemporary and enduring. The layout supports multiple modes of dining, from intimate settings to larger group occasions, without losing coherence or atmosphere.

The space is entirely dedicated to customer experience. Studio X's scope covered interior design, branding, signage, and staff uniforms - delivered as a single, unified commission.

Designed as a genuine third space - somewhere members can dine, gather, and unwind, and feel confident bringing guests to. The brief was about belonging as much as eating.

(Approach)Latitude was a complete reinvention, from brand to table. We redefined every element - spatial layout, furniture, staff uniforms, and the mood of the music across dayparts.

It was a chance to build a genuinely distinctive identity for the restaurant, taking full advantage of its marina setting and delivering a cohesive experience across all touchpoints.

Before & after

The before-and-after comparison illustrates the scale of transformation - from a dated, undifferentiated space to a cohesive environment with a clear identity, considered materiality, and built to meet the expectations of an upwardly mobile market.

Drag

Latitude responds to a gap in Sentosa Cove’s marina culture. While the neighbourhood is home to wealthy, internationally minded residents and yacht owners, the dining offer has historically lagged behind the expectations of a premium waterfront lifestyle.

Studio X developed a relaxed, contemporary restaurant designed for time-poor patrons seeking quality without ceremony, creating a space that feels effortless, sociable and quietly aligned with life around the marina.

The scope of this project was unusually broad. Studio X's role extended from spatial design and documentation through to brand identity, furniture specification, and experiential programming - areas that are rarely consolidated under a single design appointment. That breadth was also the project's greatest asset.

By controlling every touchpoint, the result is an environment with genuine coherence - one where the design of the space, the feel of the furniture, and the identity of the brand all pull in the same direction.Studio X's role extended from concept through to construction support and post-completion review. Latitude opened in 2025 and now operates as the benchmark for hospitality design within the ONE°15 Marina estate.
