Studio X was appointed to design Silvercrest Asset Management Group's inaugural Singapore office — the firm's first presence outside the US. Silvercrest manages ~$40 billion in assets for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, endowments and institutional investors, and has built its reputation on a level of personalised service and long-term client retention that larger organisations cannot replicate. The Singapore office had to embody that reputation physically — from the moment a client arrives.
Every material and finish decision was made in service of the client relationship. Solid marble, travertine stone, aniline leather, hand-woven wool carpet, and Herman Miller seating were specified throughout — not as expressions of luxury, but as expressions of permanence and care. Every element was bespoke, and every detail was designed by Studio X.
Material choices and detailing were developed for longevity, allowing the space to age with grace. Detailing is extensive, with engravings, hidden messaging, discreet slide-out drawers for guest stationery, and a rich number of crafted material junctions and edge details for users to discover.

(Approach)The brief was rooted in a clear commercial logic: Silvercrest's reputation is built on the depth of its client relationships. The office had to make that felt from the moment a client steps across the threshold.

Progress
A record of the project as it developed on site, capturing key moments as the design took shape.

Boardroom installation in progress: ceiling raft framing and lighting being fitted, with the city skyline beyond.

Wall mouldings installed and prepared for wallpaper application.

The office is organised as a carefully choreographed journey — guiding clients through a sequence of spaces designed to pause, frame views, and reveal moments of material detail, art, and brand messaging.

A strict ceiling grid forms the organisational backbone of the interior. Lighting, ventilation, and architectural features are precisely aligned within this framework, which in turn coordinates with the vertical rhythm of joinery, wall panelling, and façade mullions.
Floor finishes continue this discipline at ground level, ensuring that every architectural element relates to the same underlying order. The result is a calm, structured environment where proportion, alignment, and detail quietly reinforce the firm’s values.
