F&B interior design in Singapore for restaurants, bars and members' clubs.
Studio X designs restaurants, bars and club dining rooms that have to work for guests and for the operator. In Singapore, that includes Latitude, the all-day dining restaurant at ONE°15 Marina, and the Oval Restaurant & Verandah at the Singapore Cricket Club. Our founder, Rufus Turnbull, oversees projects from both our Singapore and Hong Kong offices.

Restaurants and all-day dining
We plan restaurants around the guest and the operation behind them: the zones, the outlook, the seating and the route from kitchen to table. At Latitude, the dining floor was zoned around the marina outlook so intimate and group dining sit side by side, with a rammed earth feature wall, made-to-order raffia wallpaper and a hand-made woven rattan light feature. Our other work in Singapore is on our Singapore page.

Members' clubs
Studio X has designed dining for three members' clubs: Latitude at ONE°15 Marina and the Oval Restaurant & Verandah at the Singapore Cricket Club in Singapore, and the Cloudgate Director's Club for UA Cinemas in Hong Kong. At the Oval, the terrace keeps its original ceiling slats and doors.

Brand and interior in one commission
Some venues need a name, an identity and a room at the same time. At Latitude, Studio X delivered the interior, branding, signage and staff uniforms as one commission. In Hong Kong, Paper Lantern and the Cloudgate Director's Club for UA Cinemas covered naming, branding, interior and collateral, down to menus, tickets and custom bottles.

Established brands and new formats
For an operator with a known name, the work is to keep the identity while the format changes. Din Tai Fung at Studio City, Macau, was a new concept for the brand, set as a benchmark for future locations, and Hung's Delicacies adapted a Michelin-starred restaurant for airport transit without losing its identity.

Food halls and multi-tenant dining
Beverley Arcade at Studio City, Macau, is a 75,000 sq ft food court for Melco Resorts & Entertainment, built in 2022 on a flexible kit-of-parts kiosk system for rotating tenants under one market-hall identity.

Front and back of house
A restaurant layout has to work for the kitchen, the service route and storage as well as the guest. At Din Tai Fung, Studio City, the design covered the entrance, the main dining room, a private booth and the kitchen-facing zones, with operational planning.

FAQ
F&B projects range from a single restaurant to a food hall. These are common questions from operators and clubs.
What F&B interior projects has Studio X completed in Singapore?
Studio X designed Latitude, the 4,900 sq ft all-day dining restaurant at ONE°15 Marina in Sentosa Cove, and the 4,500 sq ft Oval Restaurant & Verandah at the Singapore Cricket Club, both completed in 2025. The Oval won Gold at the Muse Design Awards 2026 and was a finalist at the FoodInSpace Awards 2025.
Can Studio X design the brand as well as the restaurant?
Yes. At Latitude, Studio X delivered the interior, branding, signage and staff uniforms as a single commission. In Hong Kong, Paper Lantern and the Cloudgate Director's Club for UA Cinemas covered naming, branding, interior and collateral.
Does Studio X design for private members' clubs?
Yes. Studio X has designed dining for the Singapore Cricket Club, the Oval Restaurant & Verandah, and for ONE°15 Marina, Latitude, in Singapore, and for the Cloudgate Director's Club for UA Cinemas in Hong Kong.
Does Studio X build the restaurant as well?
No. Studio X is a design consultant: it designs and specifies the venue, prepares the tender documents and advises the operator on the contractors' returns. The appointed contractor builds the venue and manages the site, and Studio X attends site and reports to the operator on how the work compares with the design.
